About us

Risk you can
actually assess.

Every project introduces risk. Yet assessment still arrives too late and takes too long. Metis closes that gap, starting with operational technology.

Our story

Born from a broken process.

Projects reach OT platforms faster than risk can be assessed. Many go live with risk nobody has identified, measured or accepted, and it compounds until an audit or an incident exposes it.

01

The requirement

A project needed changes to an OT platform. Each change could affect availability, safety or process integrity, and the team needed an answer on risk before going ahead.

02

The gap

Nobody could assess it consistently. IT frameworks didn’t fit OT, specialists were scarce, and different assessors reached different answers.

03

The platform

Metis encodes expert threat modeling into a platform that gives every team a consistent, control-mapped assessment.

Every change earns its place through a threat model.

  • 01
No project goes in blind. Every project that touches an OT platform is threat modeled before it is approved.
  • 02
Every change is assessed. Small changes to critical systems can carry large risk. Assessing them becomes routine.
  • 03
Risk is visible and comparable. Produced the same way every time, so decisions can be defended.
  • 04
Compliance is protected, not retrofitted. Findings map to controls and obligations before a change ships.

Leadership

Built by someone who has carried the risk.

Ariel's career is in cybersecurity, most of it in critical infrastructure, where a security decision is also an operational one.

Working inside those environments, Ariel saw engineering teams delivering change into OT platforms and security teams expected to sign it off, with no consistent way to say how much risk the change introduced. Metis is the answer: expert-level threat modeling that doesn't depend on which expert is available.

  • Critical infrastructure securityProtecting availability and safety, not only confidentiality.
  • OT and industrial control systemsHow OT platforms are built, changed and constrained.
  • Risk assessment and threat modelingTurning findings into controls engineers can implement.
  • Security leadershipAssessments that hold up with engineering, operations and executives.
“A risk you cannot assess is a risk you cannot accept. Our job is to make it assessable.”
